Join the WUPJ Connections Conference this May!

Educators are invited to join World Union for Progressive Judaism (WUPJ) CONNECTIONS 2017 Conference this May. “Connections” is an inspirational international conference from the offering opportunities to learn explore and engage in the diversity of our Progressive Jewish World. The event is taking place May 17-20, 2017 in Jerusalem and offers four days of interactive learning, practical training and meaningful leadership development that will inspire Jewish educators and strengthen their connections to Israel and Progressive Judaism.

This year’s focus, Milestones & Innovation, honors 200 years of Progressive Jewish history while exploring innovation in Jewish life and its impact on the future of our Jewish Peoplehood. Program highlights include:
• Site visits that explore Progressive Judaism across Israel
• Keynote speakers in the fields of leadership development, community building and young adult engagement
• Workshops and networking sessions with Jewish professionals, educators, rabbis and thought leaders
• Breakaway round table discussions that analyze and propose solutions to challenges facing Progressive congregations, schools and communities around the world

Special events also include our global Shabbat celebration, which is a truly unique opportunity to experience Shabbat songs and traditions from around the world, right here in Jerusalem.
