Coming Soon: Small Group Professional Learning Networks
Based on membership feedback, this fall ARJE will offer two opportunities for yearlong professional learning networks: one for teacher training and one for post-B’nai Mitzvah programming.
How will it work? ARJE members will gather together by conference call once a month for the year to learn about the topic, research and share best practices, develop a plan, offer support and feedback, and then implement the plan. The network of colleagues will encourage collaboration, best practices, and help ARJE members move forward in their work. EAch group will be supported by other ARJE members and experts in their particular area of focus.
What is the commitment? Members wishing to participate will fill out an online application. They should be willing to commit to 7 learning sessions (1.5 hrs each) throughout the year plus individual work and reflection in their setting. Additionally participants will be asked to virtually host two meetings, sending meeting reminders and facilitating the conversation. Guidelines will be provided by the Networking Task Force.
What is the cost? There is no cost to participate; this networking opportunity is being offered as a benefit of NATE.
How do I get involved? If you are interested in teacher training email Stacy Rigler (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you are interested in post b’nai mitzvah programming contact Stacey Delcau (email@example.com)
Please email Stacy or Stacey with your interest by September 30.
