Soul Purpose: Early Engagement and Social Justice, ECE-RJ Kallah

ARJE members are enthusiastically invited to join the Early Childhood Educators of Reform Judaism (ECE-RJ) at the historic Peabody Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee from April 7-9, 2016 for their annual Kallah on the topic Soul Purpose: Early Engagement and Social Justice.

Under the leadership of scholar-in-residence, Rabbi Dr. Gary Zola, Executive Director of the American Jewish Archives and Edward M. Ackerman Family Distinguished Professor of the American Jewish Experience and Reform Jewish History at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR), participants will explore civil rights, social justice and American Jews, as well as how to create and live an ethical life. Rabbi Zola will guide participants on this journey and help make connections that can be brought back to each person’s work setting.

Information available on the ECERJ website.
