Start your day with attention and intention.  Put on comfortable shoes and clothes, and join for a 20-minute walking meditation..  It is a new day, and we begin today with a focus on our body, and our movement.  A walking meditation allows us to both move our body with intention and make space for attention, as we allow ourselves to be guided on a journey.  This meditation is designed for someone who has comfortable access to moving their legs and feet without assistance from another person.  The pace of the walk begins slow, and ends at a speed you are comfortable with. You can do this walking meditation indoors in a circle, on path, or anywhere you have room to both walk, and to stop.

NFTY and Teen Leadership.

Even before the pandemic began, many synagogues were thinking differently about post b’nei mitzvah and temple youth groups. The change process that NFTY began years ago has only sped up during the pandemic, pushed forward by a lack of in-person events and staffing changes.  Join Michelle Shapiro Abraham for an informal conversation about NFTY, teen leadership, and how we all are navigating this tricky space.
