ARJE and Bay Area-based Jewish LearningWorks are proud to partner on a NEW small group coaching network for congregational educators. This program is open to those with 2-7 years of experience in a Jewish educational leadership role.

Facilitated by ARJE members and expert coaches Michelle Lynn-Sachs and Tamara Gropper, our first two small-group cohorts will launch in September 2025.

Each participant will have an initial one-on-one meeting with their coach followed by seven, ninety minute group coaching gatherings between September and June 2025.

These sessions will explore critical leadership competencies aligned with ARJE’s Vision for Excellence, such as:

  • Developing educational vision
  • Staff supervision and retention
  • Effective communication with colleagues, parents and community members
  • Managing up to create generative partnerships
  • Finding enhanced confidence in your work

Participant Qualifications:

  • ARJE member or Bay Area Jewish Educator
  • 2-7 years’ experience in a Jewish educational leadership role (director- or assistant director-level)
  • Commitment to attending all 7 monthly group learning sessions
  • Pay a $500 participation fee (full and partial scholarship available)

We have up to 16 slots available for this pilot year.
