About Speaker
Jillian Best Adler has a Master’s degree in Child Development from the Erikson Institute and has spent over a decade training and coaching early childhood educators and facilitating support groups and workshops for parents. Using a nonjudgmental, laughs-are-welcome-here approach, she guides educators and parents on the journey to shift their perspectives on everyday behaviors and commonly held beliefs about young children and our interactions with them.
Jillian is a mixed-race Black Jewish mother of three children. She serves as Vice President of the Board of Camp Havaya, a Reconstructionist summer camp in the Poconos, and is an active volunteer at her children’s Progressive Quaker school.
All of her work, including her parenting, is values-based, informed by and rooted in a commitment to justice.
