Will I see you as we gather to "Shift into Summer?” I hope so!
Next Thursday (April 30) ARJE is offering 3 ways for our members to prepare to “Shift into Summer.”
- Gather locally – Attend an existing site or simply reach out to a colleague or two – no size is too small to strengthen our relationships and celebrate our sacred work.
- Gather online – Join colleagues on Zoom to connect and reflect. You bring the snacks we bring the fun. 12-1 ET/9-10PT.
- Join us for the annual meeting only – Don’t have time for individual connections but want to stay informed about ARJE, what we are doing for you, and how we are working to enact our mission and vision with your membership contributions? I am an educator who lives near some ARJE members but not in a large Jewish community. I work part time in multiple settings including but not exclusively congregational education. It’s fair to say that I wear many hats. But the hat that I wear the most is my ARJE hat. I wear it with pride – I am grateful to be part of this wonderful community of colleagues and friends. I can’t thank you all enough for the times you have given me new ideas, helped me problem solve, and lifted me up when i most needed the encouragement.
For “Shifting into Summer” I will not be in one of the largest groups, I will be with a few colleagues or even online if schedules do not permit us to be together in person. However I participate, I know how important it is to show up for the event. It’s an opportunity for me as a Board Member to ensure the diversity of our members feel celebrated and connected to one another across the miles. I feel appreciated and supported by ARJE and all of you when I see your faces.
I hope to see everyone on Thursday, one way or another. When we are all online together, look for me – I will be the one with a big smile on my face.
